Nice to meet you!
I'm Virginia.

I am a Product Designer (UX/UI) who combines research, functional design, and visual craft to create (digital) products that are intuitive, accessible, and beautiful. My recent work has centered on mobile and web app design in the medical, AI, and assistive tech domains, where truly listening to users, clarity, accessibility, and technical feasibility are essential.

My approach

My process is rooted in systemic thinking and a deep commitment to user insights. I believe that grounding design decisions in real-world needs and constraints is the only way to create solutions that are truly contextually relevant. To achieve this, I believe in involving users and stakeholders as much as possible throughout the design process.

With 8 years of experience collaborating with researchers and engineers as a contractor, I learned to always have an eye for technical feasibility and regulatory compliance. Following requirements without compromising on aesthetics or the quality of the user experience is a challenge that I find extremely motivating.

Coming from a background in Visual Communication, I bring a sharp eye for clarity, aesthetics, and attention to detail to every digital product. I pair this visual craft with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, developed by working with multidisciplinary teams and clients during my experiences as freelance designer and external contractor.

My motivation

What drives me is knowing that my work can serve people, making their private or professional lives more intuitive and inclusive. I find deep satisfaction in projects where design is one piece of a larger, complex ecosystem. I understand that meaningful change often happens through the collective effort of multidisciplinary teams working toward a shared, positive goal.

Outside of design

When I’m not designing, I’m almost always making something with my hands: drawing, photography, textile arts. Any visual craft I encounter, I have to try. I believe that making tangible things enriches me on both a personal and professional level. I am also learning Dutch to better connect with the world around me and with my work.
